Cyndie Kim

Elementary Ministry Teacher

Cyndie was born in France and moved to the United States when she was 8 years old. She first heard the gospel and started her walk with Christ at the age of 20 after being invited to worship and Bible study at a Korean church. Shortly after, she felt called to go to Korea and spent a decade living there, where she continued to grow in her faith, and served as a teacher both in children's ministry and youth group. She now lives in Billerica with her husband Taeyeob and two daughters: Elina and Charlotte. Cyndie has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in Korean Studies from Seoul National University. She speaks French, Korean, and English and is a former teacher of both English and French. She currently serves as the Sunday school teacher for elementary grades at IMC, and works as a master instructor and manager at Tiger An’s Taekwondo in Billerica.

Tim Son

associate pastor

Tim and his wife, Jeni, have been residing in Massachusetts since 2013.  They love that they are close to the ocean and to the mountains in NH and Maine.  They have been married for 16 years and have a dog named Bonnie.  Tim was born in South Korea and moved to the US when he was 9 years old.  He grew up in NJ, led children and youth ministry in Atlanta, studied at Gordon-Conwell Seminary, worked at Gordon College, and is an InterVarsity Campus Minister at Harvard University for graduate students.  Tim enjoys staying active, building meaningful relationships, and learning about a wide range of subjects—it's hard to find a topic that doesn't interest him. Together, Tim and Jeni are grateful for God's leading and are excited to serve and minister alongside the IMC family.

Alijah Dudart

Pre-K pastor

Alijah was born into a multi-ethnic Christian family in Southern California. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor's in Christian ministry and a Minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a double Masters at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity and a Masters of Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family. She continues to explore how a Christ-centered model of family and community can provide a framework for multicultural families to flourish. While growing up in a diverse environment, it provided her with cultural awareness and sensitivity to those around her. Being someone of multiple ethnic backgrounds herself, she has had to navigate what life looks like for her in various settings and seeks to come alongside others finding their way. Alijah desires to walk alongside individuals and children as we all seek to find Jesus in our lives and in our unique walk with Christ.
